Data Deletion Request

TarkApp provides a WhatsApp-native ordering service on behalf of business customers (“Merchants”). You have the right to request deletion of the personal data we process about you. There are two easy ways to do this.

Option 1 — Stop messages instantly

Reply STOP to the business on WhatsApp at any time. This immediately suppresses further messaging to your number. Reply START if you later wish to resume.

Option 2 — Request full deletion by email

Email privacy@tarkapp.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• The WhatsApp phone number you used (including country code).
• The business (Merchant) you were ordering from, if known.

Because the Merchant is the Data Fiduciary for your order data, we will verify your request, delete or de-identify the personal data we hold, and coordinate the request with the relevant Merchant where required. We will complete verified requests within the timelines required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Note: some records may be retained for the limited period required by law (for example, tax and accounting obligations), after which they are deleted or de-identified. See our Privacy Policy for details.
