What an online seller's inbox looks like

Sellers who buy to resell do not send order forms. They send a screenshot of somebody else's listing, a design number off a printed page, a school's set-list as a photograph — and they send it at the hour they happen to be free. This is what arrives, and what happens to each one.

Can an AI handle orders that arrive as screenshots and photos?

Yes — a forwarded screenshot, a photographed set-list or a design number becomes a priced draft matched against your own catalog. What it cannot match it lists for a person rather than guessing, and it answers the buyer in the language they wrote in.

Every pattern below arrives at a real wholesale counter.

Intake6

Almost nothing arrives as a list of SKUs

uc-061

A screenshot of somebody else's listing

— a reseller pricing a customer's request against your stock

Ye wala item hai kya? Screenshot bhej raha hoon

“Do you have this one? I'm sending a screenshot.”

UC-061HINGLISHSURATPALANQUIN

What you'll observe

Matched to what you actually stock, at their tier. If the screenshot is not something you carry, it says so instead of offering the nearest thing.

uc-059

Toys, three weeks before Diwali

— a licence name and a gesture, in the same breath

Chhota Bheem wala 3 dozen, aur woh remote car

“Three dozen of the Chhota Bheem one, and that remote car.”

UC-059HINGLISHDELHIPALANQUIN

What you'll observe

The licensed line resolves from your catalog. “That remote car” goes to a person, because the buyer means one they have bought before and the agent will not pick for them.

uc-068

A school's set-list, photographed

— thirty titles for one class, in June

What you'll observe

Read title by title against your list, with editions and classes kept apart. Titles it cannot place are listed for a person rather than swapped for a lookalike.

Two editions of the same textbook are not the same book to a school, and a substitution is a return in July.

uc-069

A design number off a printed catalogue

— the catalogue is paper, the order is a message

Design 4471, 20 pcs, gold plating

“Design 4471, twenty pieces, gold plated.”

UC-069ENGLISHRAJKOTPALANQUIN

What you'll observe

The design number is looked up in your own catalogue, with the finish treated as part of the item rather than a note on the end.

uc-062

A comment on a reel, which becomes a DM, which becomes an order

— three surfaces and one buyer, in about ninety seconds

What you'll observe

The public comment gets a public answer that does not carry a price, and the order happens in the DM. Which of those two a thing belongs in is a governance question before it is a channel one.

uc-123

A QR on the catalogue page itself, one per design

— the paper catalogue stays; the typing goes

What you'll observe

Scanned on the page the buyer is already looking at, so the conversation opens knowing the design. It is the same order as typing the number, minus the digit somebody transposes.

Questions before the order9

Nine of the ten most-repeated questions at a wholesale counter, and each one decides whether an order follows

uc-060“Is it in stock right now?” — asked at 11pm, answered from real stockShowHide

What you'll observe

Abhi stock hai? 50 piece chahiye

“Is it in stock right now? I need fifty.”

UC-060HINGLISHINDOREPALANQUIN

From your live stock, not from a cached figure. If your stock is not connected, it says a person will confirm rather than inventing a number.

uc-012“What is my rate?” — resellers buy on a tier, not a list priceShowHide

What you'll observe

Mera wholesale rate kya hai is item ka?

“What is my wholesale rate on this item?”

UC-012HINGLISHAGRAPALANQUIN

Their tier, from your own pricing. Never the list price dressed up as a deal.

uc-067“Do you still have last quarter's model?” — mobile accessories turn over every ninety daysShowHide

What you'll observe

Answered against the catalog as it is today. A discontinued line is named as discontinued rather than quietly replaced with its successor.

uc-013“Do you ship to my city?” — asked before price, because it decides everythingShowHide

What you'll observe

Guwahati deliver karte ho?

“Do you deliver to Guwahati?”

UC-013HINGLISHGUWAHATIPALANQUIN

From your serviceability list. It does not assume a city is covered because the state is.

uc-016“What is the GST on this?” — the rate that decides the reseller's own marginShowHide

What you'll observe

From your own tax master, on that item, not from a general rule about the category.

uc-065“Do academies get a different price?” — sports goods sell to institutions on their own ratesShowHide

What you'll observe

If you have set an institutional tier, it applies it and says which. If you have not, it hands the question to a person rather than inventing one.

uc-064“Can you hold this until the season starts?” — stationery is a two-month yearShowHide

What you'll observe

It records the intent and the date, and does not commit stock. Holding inventory is a decision your team makes, not the agent.

uc-080“Is this the salon pack or the retail pack?” — the same brand, two SKUs, very different pricesShowHide

What you'll observe

It asks which, rather than choosing. Two pack sizes at different prices is precisely where a confident guess costs a return.

uc-079“What is the shelf life on this batch?” — pet food moves slowly through a small shopShowHide

What you'll observe

Answered where your catalog carries expiry, and handed to a person where it does notnever estimated from a date on a different batch.

When the order is a picture3

Some items cannot be named, only shown — and the reply has to be a quote, not a catalogue link

uc-087

A photo of a showroom piece

— furniture is chosen by sight, then priced backwards

What you'll observe

The photo stays with the enquiry and a person quotes against it. The agent does not match a sofa to a SKU on appearance.

uc-086

Artwork and a size

— printing is quoted on both, and neither is optional

What you'll observe

It takes the file and the dimensions and drafts the enquiry with both attached. Missing either, it asks — a print quote against half a spec is a reprint.

uc-072

Corrugated boxes, quoted on size, ply and print

— three variables, and a quote against two of them is worthless

What you'll observe

All three are treated as required before a quote exists. Where one is missing it asks for that one rather than quoting a common configuration and letting the buyer discover the difference at delivery.

Questions people ask before they try it

Can it read a screenshot of another seller's listing?

It reads what is in the image and matches it against your catalog. What it cannot match, it says so about — it does not offer the closest thing it found and let the buyer assume it is the same item.

Our SKUs change every quarter. Does it keep up?

It answers from your catalog as it stands, so it keeps up exactly as fast as your catalog does. A line you have discontinued is named as discontinued rather than silently swapped for its replacement.

What happens when a buyer asks for something we do not carry?

It says so, and brings in a person if the buyer wants to go further. It does not substitute a near-match, which is the failure that turns into a return three weeks later.

Test it, don't take it from us

Ask it: “Ye wala item hai kya? Screenshot bhej raha hoon.”

You're talking to the product. Nothing you send is added to any business's catalog.
